First - Rory rocks!
Second - Srsly Moffatt? Spoilers to River Song spoiler space below
Okay first, can I just say omg ewwwwww with the hello sweetie lover, my love etc from River/Doctor and the flirting when it turns out she is Amy and Rory's daughter? That's just Woody Allen creepy ass.
Second. River is part Time Lord because of being conceived on the TARDIS. Okay, I'll buy that. sort of. I guess. What I can't buy is that he has a connection to the Time Lords even this version of him that he didn't get that vibe from her EVER?! Really? What? She outgrows it? She couldn't have, otherwise why did she exist out of time when Amy rebooted the Universe? And if she does have the ability to regenerate which we sort of already saw how did she die in the Library for the final time? Is he going to say that was her final regeneration and she's done it multiple times to get to the 51st century?
I'm going to wait and see what happens in part 2 but right now, so not impressed with the revelation.

That aside, I think I'm growing rather fond of Kick-Ass-Centurian-Rory. That opening gambit before the credits? Brill! :D

Date: 2011-06-05 04:56 pm (UTC)The regeneration thing is actually a good way to show her regressing in age, 'cause that actress isn't getting any younger. And I'm not impressed by the way they've tried to depict her as being younger with too much make-up and her hair being down and her using more coy flirty words like a twenty year old when she's uh... obviously older than that.
