Seriously! I know I have it better than say people in Iowa. :P But OMG this is a whole week of freezing weather. Normally, we get a day or two of a cold snap and that's it. I had ICE on my lawn yesterday. Sure, normal occurrence for most people in the winter but when I was out in the ocean surfing on Christmas Day, it's a freakazoid thing.

Okay, done ranting. *g* Hopefully the weather will be back up to 70 soon. Or I'm moving to Puerto Rico/Jamaica/*pick an island*

Time to do prompt writing before I get my ass kicked out of communities.

My New Year's Resolution was to write more. RP has taken up a lot of my time and I love it, but I'm going to get back into the writing thing whether it be fandom or original. I'm not quite up for the drabble a day though. You go [livejournal.com profile] not_from_stars!

You could move to California, we get cold and hot but I've been told by southerner's/midwester's/east coaster's that we have no weather.

Cause it isn't freezing usually and when it's hot there's very little humidity.

I don't mind the hot and humidity, it's the cold I can't stand so if you don't have much cold you might be the next stop. *g*

We had a couple days in the high twenties/low thirties but usually that's an overnight low. Rare to get ice on things, a couple days each winter.. I'd say.. high forties ish in the early AM is usual.

The ice on the lawn happened because we had light rain and it had got down to upper twenties overnight. BRRRRRR.

I can deal with high forties in the morning.

*g* I think it sez things well.

I'll admit that I like the change of seasons and winter is one of my favorites... I even like snow. HowEVER, we've had enough of snow and arctic temps, kthxbai.

It can be warm and melt now. :)

We're supposed to be close to 80 by Sunday. I will send it up your way.

I can not imagine living in Alaska with no sun and snow up to the chimneys. Okay that's an exaggeration but I bet close. *g*

Yay! Thanks! :D *gets thong bikini ready*

I can't imagine that either--especially the no sun thing. That would kill me. Actually, I need to take some pix of the river tomorrow. It's been really cold for long enough to freeze over from bank to bank where I live.

Imagine it! The Mighty Mississippi frozen enough for people to walk across... believe it or don't. :) My husband's gramma can remember tales from her uncles and dad that they did exactly that a few winters way back when.

I sure wouldn't try it! O.o

Eeep! I can't imagine the Mississippi being so cold that people could walk across it. That is some cold weather. I'd love to see some pics.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the no sun I could much easier deal with sun 24/7 than to not have it.

Dang! By the time I got over there today, we'd had nearly two full days of our heat wave (20's) and the ice has started to break up and move downriver. Most of that *is* snowy ice, but it's hard to distinguish. The top left sliver is the free-flowing middle of the river. :D

I've been writing a wee bit more myself, though I still hate it. -_-

And yeah, Cali was too hot for me, but it sounds great for you. Or my friend says Texas had a nice dry heat.

I love the hot weather. In fact for me the idea of hell being fire and brimstone is lovely. My idea of hell is cold. Ice freezing cold. Brrr.

Aww, why do you hate writing? You're very good at it.
